Aunty Alan Presents : Pretty Things Fest
After 5 months touring solo, Georgie Winchester has landed back in Newcastle and is eager to share the release of her 5 track EP ‘pretty things’ on the 2nd Nov at King Street Hotel 7pm start. The EP explores Georgie’s new found love for electric guitars & 90’s rock bands with her second-look soaring vocals & bluesy harmonica riffs. ‘pretty things’ is inspired by an epic breakup which harnesses all that negative energy into making ‘pretty things’ with her music, despite its heavy lyrical content.
To support the release of this work, 4 Newcastle bands + The Georgie Winchester Special have come together to bring you ‘pretty things fest’ which doubles as a fundraiser for Women’s Legal Service NSW which “is an independent non-profit organisation which provides a voice for women in NSW, and promotes access to justice, particularly for women who are disadvantaged by their social and economic circumstances.” 100% of ticket sales are going directly to this organisation to aid them in continuing their incredibly important work in the community.
